Cordyceps Encann® product is a pure extract derived from fruiting bodies The fungus Cordyceps Militaris (Combat Mace).
Active substances (cordyceps) play an important function in maintaining the body's homeostasis, minimizing the impact of stress and facilitating adaptation to changing environmental conditions. Cordyceps is distinguished by the presence of numerous biologically active components. This adaptogenic mushroom has been widely used for centuries in Chinese folk medicine.
AdaptSense Nutraceuticals from Encann® derived from adaptogenic plants, often referred to as functional foods, are gaining popularity as a form of supplementation, and for several important reasons. Unlike synthetic supplements, nutraceuticals Are better absorbed by the body. Natural ingredients are more easily recognized by the body, which increases their effectiveness. As natural products, nutraceuticals usually have fewer side effects compared to traditional pharmaceuticals and synthetic supplements. Above all, adaptogens show high synergistic effects among themselves.
We fit as much as 1800 mg of cordycep fruitcake in 1 daily serving. Recommended daily serving for consumption: 1.5 g of product (i.e. 40 drops or 2 pipette pulls). Use sublingually or add to food/drinks.

Survey conducted by J.S. Hamilton Poland Sp. z o.o. on behalf of Encann sp. z o.o. - owner of the Encann brand. Samples of Adaptsense extract in liquid form were tested. The test was conducted in accordance with an accredited method. All results presented in the report are below the maximum levels of contaminants specified in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1881/2006 of December 19, 2006. This means that Adaptsense extract in liquid form is safe for consumption.

An interesting phenomenon is the ability of the Cordyceps mushroom to induce apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in cancer cells. In vitro studies have shown that the use of Cordyceps militaris extract can result in the enhancement of apoptotic mechanisms in cancer cells. This was achieved by reducing the production of Bcl-2 proteins, which normally inhibit apoptosis and contribute to the growth of cancer cells. In addition, an increase in the expression of genes responsible for encoding enzymes such as caspase-3 and PARP, which play a role in the breakdown and elimination of cancer cells, was observed.
Cordyceps is recognized as a natural agent that supports the immune system by enhancing the body's immune tolerance. This is particularly important in the context of the spread of autoimmune diseases. Studies show that regular use of Cordyceps can help reduce inflammatory processes, limit excessive tissue damage caused by autoimmune reactions, and reduce the time it takes for damaged tissues to regenerate.
In addition, other studies have highlighted that Cordyceps has mild stimulant properties and exhibits adaptogen-like effects, suggesting that it may be beneficial for people struggling with constant stress.
The biologically active compounds in Cordyceps are responsible for its immunoprotective effects, such as improving cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine and reproductive functions. Among these are cordycepin, cordycepic acid, adenosine and cordemin, with cordycepin being the key active ingredient in Cordyceps mushrooms to which most of the beneficial effects from its use can be attributed.
Recent studies have revealed an interesting correlation between Cordyceps use and cardiovascular health, noting a significant effect on blood lipid parameters. Cordyceps was found to help reduce total cholesterol levels, which may reduce the risk of developing coronary artery disease. Such an effect may be related to the rich antioxidant content of Cordyceps, which reduces inflammation in blood vessels and arteries. In addition, in vivo studies on the effects on cardiovascular disease show that the use of Cordyceps extract lowers levels of LDL, bad cholesterol, and triglycerides in the blood, which in excess contribute to inflammation and are key risk factors for coronary heart disease and heart attack.
The active ingredients present in Cordyceps mushrooms, key to blood sugar regulation, are cordycepin and 3'-deoxyadenosine. These compounds are important for regulatory processes that affect the maintenance of stable fasting, post-meal insulin levels and glucose balance, analogous to the action of insulin. Studies in animal models have shown that the use of supplements with Cordyceps extract can lead to a reduction in glucose and insulin levels throughout the day. This points to the possible use of these mushrooms in preventing and supporting the treatment of insulin resistance and other conditions associated with abnormal glycemic levels.
